Those of you who know Chris Edey know that reading his blog is a good idea. For those of you who don't know him, just take my word on it.

If you read my blog and use Internet Explorer (which is likely: the logs say 58.4% of pages are requested by IE), consider switching to Firefox. It's much better than IE and it's free. It's also very easy to make the switch.

Declan McCullagh's weekly column is worth reading if you are interested in politics and technology. This week he looks at determining the value of links to campaign web sites. It will be interesting to see how this plays out in the next few years.

This will probably turn out very well for the blogger in question. News flash: employees complain about their bosses. And sometimes bosses find out about it.

I'm looking for photo gallery software. I plan to incorporate a photo gallery into South Muskoka's web site. The administrator of the gallery is not a web developer. Any suggestions? The simpler, the better.

Requirements:

• Web interface for uploading and managing photos
• Reasonably secure
• Linux/Apache/PHP-friendly
• Free
• Presentation easily modified

This is neat.
