		<description>Well, the numbers speak for themselves. I couldn&#039;t agree more that something needs to be done and that the current government&#039;s policies were quite shortsighted.

This issue, for me, is the political minefield associated with restoring the GST. It&#039;s guaranteed that the Conservatives won&#039;t do it and, for the Libs, it seems like perfect cannon fodder for their opponents and critics.

When I read this a few days ago, I didn&#039;t know whether to laugh or cry.

If the Liberals were to take power (polls are looking better lately!), how could they ever spin a raising of the GST without being completely shelled by CPC attack ads?
