Another reason why we need to reform our electoral system. Not that I think Alberta will separate in the near future, but the source of this discontent can be treated in other ways.

July 8th, 2005I've been paying attention to stories about China's interest in tar sands oil since my friend Erin started talking about it back in January. It seems as though the U.S. is paying attention now, too. I'm a skeptic when it comes to China and Canadian oil partly because of the strong U.S. interest in secure energy supplies from Canada.
