helmer.ca : my academic work
If you've read my short biography, then you know that completed my undergraduate studies at University of Waterloo. There, my primary interest was literature written in English, but I had secondary interest in philosophy, public policy and other subjects in the humanities. See a list of courses that I took.
I began my undergraduate thesis, Imagining Africadia, in May 2003. I focused on Beatrice Chancy and Whylah Falls, two books of verse by George Elliott Clarke, Canada's greatest poet. My supervisor was Dr. Linda Warley.
In August 2005, I finished the Master of Public Administration programme offered by the School of Policy Studies of Queen's University.
I have written a few essays that you may be interested in.
